If you’re feeling stressed, overwhelmed, stuck, or want support in making changes, counseling can help you gain insight, develop new skills, and improve your overall well-being.
You have a few options:
Counseling sessions are generally 50-55 minutes in length. If you need a longer session time, you will work with your provider to schedule that. There may be additional fees associated with extended sessions.
We do not conduct autism or psychological testing, and we do not prescribe medications. However, if you are a current client, we can connect you with trusted providers who offer these services. We can also collaborate with your medical or psychiatric provider to support your care.
Even if we are not in-network with your insurance provider, you still have options! Head to the "INSURANCE & BILLING" tab to learn more.
Our goal is to make therapy as accessible as possible while ensuring you receive quality care from a provider who is the right fit for you.
Yes. We understand the unique challenges military families face, including deployment stress, transitions, and reintegration. While all of our providers may not be in-network with TRICARE or VA insurance, we can provide documentation if you wish to seek reimbursement through your insurance. There are many service organizations that may be able to assist with the cost of counseling, and we are continually updating our list of these resources. Until support is confirmed, clients may be responsible for paying the sliding scale rate.
Your first session is a time for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brought you to counseling, your goals, and any concerns you may have. We’ll also review paperwork, answer your questions, and create a plan for moving forward together.
Yes! We offer secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions so you can attend from the comfort of your home. Some clients prefer to meet via telehealth while others choose to meet both in-person and virtually.
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid a late cancellation fee of $80. This allows us to offer your time to another client who may be waiting. We ask that our clients contact their provider directly to do so. Your provider will review this policy in your first appointment.
