Areas of Focus:
This list highlights part of her focus, but she works with clients on a wide range of concerns.
Christine is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in North Carolina, working toward independent licensure under the supervision of Dr. Pamela Cassellius. She sees clients in person at the Carthage office and virtually across the state.
Christine is passionate about walking alongside women and moms as they navigate the many layers of life—from anxiety, depression, burnout to identity shifts, hormonal changes, and the mental load of motherhood. She provides support through pregnancy, postpartum, early loss, parenting neurodivergent children, and finding balance in relationships and roles. She is also passionate about working with women who have ADHD and is currently working on becoming an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider to better support her clients.
Couples working with Christine can find support for challenges such as the strains of parenthood, reconnecting, and strengthening their foundation. Those interested in couples work will first complete a consult to determine the best fit. In some cases, individual counseling may also be recommended alongside couples sessions to ensure the most productive experience.
In addition, she offers a compassionate space for older teens as they navigate the challenges and transitions of young adulthood. This may include exploring identity, managing academic or social pressures, building confidence, and strengthening communication with family and peers. Christine provides support that balances guidance with autonomy, helping teens feel understood while equipping them with tools to grow into adulthood with resilience and clarity.
Her approach is warm, collaborative, and holistic—blending person-centered therapy, ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy), and attachment theory. Christine believes in addressing the whole person—emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually—and works with each client to create a personalized plan that honors their unique story and goals. She offers Christian-based counseling as requested.
Experience:
With over 7 years of experience in coaching and pastoral care, Christine has supported teens, young adults, women, and couples through anxiety, depression, stress, relationship and family issues, and major life changes—including postpartum and motherhood.
